At DFW Hot Tubs, we love the idea of relaxing and enjoying the stress relief that a hot tub can provide. Imagine combining that experience with friends or family and hosting your own hot tub party! Follow these party planning tips to make for a successful gathering.
- Guest list and plan the details (date, time, and any special instructions)
- Decide on a date and time. Are you thinking about hosting a hot tub party around a holiday weekend, a birthday, or another celebration?
- Keep in mind the number of people you can host in your specific hot tub! Most spas can hold between 4-6 adults comfortably.
- Let your guests know if they need to bring bathing suits, towels, or any other items.
- Give yourself extra time to prepare.
- Water chemistry and spa condition
- Make sure your water chemistry and spa are in good condition. Test your water and have any needed chemicals added to adjust the water.
- Clean your filter!
- Wipe down your spa and make sure there is no debris.
- If you have any questions regarding water chemistry, spa repair, or any other hot tub service please contact DFW Hot Tubs well ahead of time at (469) 250-2226. We love offering services to homeowners in the DFW Metro area including Denton, Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, and Plano.
- Set your water temperature appropriately
- In the DFW area, we get varied weather throughout the year.
- If it is cold outside, consider having the temperature up. Most adults find 100°F-102°F to be enjoyable, but above that may be too warm for some. If children are using the hot tub, consider keeping it a few degrees cooler.
- If it is hot outside, consider turning off the heater to keep your water as cool as possible. You can enjoy the jets even on a summer day.
- Ask your guests if the water temperature is comfortable.
- Music and lights
- These can be essential to set the mood for your party!
- Sundance® Spas are equipped with color changing LED lights so you and your guests can enjoy the benefits of chromotherapy!
- An optional feature on some Sundance® Spas is the built-in Bluetooth stereo system, which can play your favorite music while you relax in your spa. If your spa doesn’t have this feature built-in, any outdoor Bluetooth speaker or stereo system can be a great way to enhance the experience while enjoying the hot tub.
- Beverages
- Provide plenty of water for your guests! Stay hydrated while using a spa! It is very easy to become dehydrated and overheated while using a spa, so remember to also cool off and drink plenty of water.
- Consider using plastic or acrylic cups while using the spa. Avoid glass or other materials that may break.
- Pro Tip
- Add shock after your party is over (¼ oz of shock per guest that attended). This will help ensure your spa will look great the next time you use it.
Happy party planning!
